How it works
Find your school
Search 200+ Dubai schools. From then on you only ever see — and are only ever seen by — families at that same school.
Offer a seat, or ask for one
Drivers post the run they already do. Riders find one that fits their morning and their neighbourhood, and send a request.
Decide for yourselves
When someone says yes, you swap numbers and take it from there — meet first, agree the details. Families often share a bit towards petrol; that’s entirely between you.

Same School Ride introduces families at the same school. It doesn’t run the rides — you do. Here’s exactly how that works.
Who can see me?
Only parents at your child’s school — and only your name and the route you offer or ask for. Never your email or phone number. Families at other schools can’t see you at all.
When does another parent get my number?
Only after a seat is accepted — and only the one family you’ve agreed to share with. Nobody is browsing your contact details.
Does Same School Ride choose the driver?
No. You choose who you’re comfortable with, and you can say no to anyone, at any point, with no explanation owed.
Can I meet the parent first?
Yes — always, and we’d encourage it. A coffee or a school-gate chat before anyone gets in a car is completely normal here.
Are drivers background-checked?
No — and we’re upfront about that. Same School Ride is a neighbourhood of parents, not a company. Treat it like any parent you’d let your child go home with: message first, meet in person, and ask to see their licence and motor insurance before the first ride.
What about car seats and seat belts?
The driver is responsible for the correct restraint for every child, as UAE law requires. Confirm this when you talk.
What if my child is off sick?
Just message the driver. There’s no charge and nothing owed.
